Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: from £15,000 – £18,000 depending on experience

We are looking for a keen computer science graduate to join our Client’s highly successful and dynamic team within their award winning marketing agency in Newcastle. Working as a developer within the Digital department, the work will be varied and challenging providing an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills.

Job Specification
The ideal candidate will have completed a BSc in Computer Science (or equivalent) within the last 2 years and must have a good foundation in ASP.NET, C#, as well as knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript; other internet technologies would also be desirable (candidates with experience in programming languages other than C# will also be considered). In addition, any exposure to databases (SQL) and other data storage technologies will be advantageous.
Reporting to the Software Development Manager you will be expected to work as part of a multi-discipline team to design and develop web applications that run on our own Content Management System (CMS); in addition, you may also be required to develop completely bespoke applications as well as being actively involved in the continuous development of the CMS itself.
Person specification
This role will suit a highly motivated, well organised individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure whilst problem solving. You will need to be self disciplined with a strong work ethic able to meet tight deadlines while still producing high quality work.
