The Gateshead Digital Summer festival is entering its final stages – but there’s still much to be taken in.
This week, the monthly Think and a Drink networking event has a sporting twist with the World Cup underway. The event takes place at Saltwell Park in Gateshead after a day of practical workshops on digital PR and marketing at the Marriot Hotel.
The festival, which kicked off in May with the Thinking Digital Conference, culminates next week with the renowned gaming conference GameHorizon at the Sage Gateshead.
There will also be an open day at the Gateshead International Business Centre on 7 July and ‘Connectivity Surgery’ at the same venue between 7-9 July.
The final event the festival will be Game Hero 2010, the North East’s first major gaming tournament, at the Metrocentre on 10 July.
